Only 11 Events in the Ministry Jesus are recorded to have happened on "the Sabbath"!
While Sabbatarians place huge central importance on the Sabbath, there are only 11 different events recorded to have happened on the Sabbath. Think about this for a moment. Three years and about 150 possible Sabbaths, yet the Holy Spirit chose only 11 events to be recorded to have happened on a Sabbath day. Hundreds of events are recorded in the Gospels, yet only 11 are recorded to have happened on the Sabbath! In fact the Gospels record almost as many events happening on the first day of the week in the 40 days after the resurrection, as in the 3 years before!
