Body: | Does Revelation foretell today's current events?
Here is Bible Verse #4 of 4:
"And he (the angel) said to me (John) , 'Do not seal up the words of the
prophecy of this book, for the time is near.'" Rev 22:10
John said that the time was near when he wrote Revelation (96 AD)
The fulfillment of the prophecies was not near, but were 2000 years later.

Review:
Daniel Vs. John "seal up"
Daniel 8:26 "And the vision of the evenings and mornings which has been
told is true; But keep the vision secret, For it pertains to many days in
the future."
Daniel 12:4 "But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the
book until the end of time"
Daniel was a prophet who wrote about 600 BC
The angel told Daniel to "seal up" the prophecy
Yet Daniel's prophecies were fulfilled with the earthly ministry of
Jesus and shortly thereafter.
What is reasonable?
If Daniel was told seal up the prophecy for only a 600 year period
John was told not to seal up the book equals a period of more then 1900
years?
Daniel said in 600 BC
John said in 96 AD
Seal up the prophecy
do not seal up prophecy
Jesus fulfilled 600 years later
Still not fulfilled 1900 years later?
This interpretation is not reasonable
Question:
The Bible says: "And he (the angel) said to me (John) , 'Do not seal up the
words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near.'" Rev 22:10
What did John mean when he said "do not seal up for the time is near"
John meant that the time for fulfillment was near when he wrote Revelation
(96A AD)
The prophecies were in fact sealed for 2000 years!
