When did the last days begin? Question 1: The Bible says: Hebrews 1:2 "God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son." It says that God has "spoken to us". Who did God speak to? God had spoken to first century Christians through Jesus God was not speaking to first century Christians but only to us living in the 20th century . . Hint: Keep in mind the context of the verse. The book of Hebrews was written between 68-70 AD. The expression "spoken to us" must at least include the very ones to whom the book was written. click here to continue . . Correct! The verse says that Jesus appeared. When did Jesus appear? During Jesus' earthly ministry as recorded in the four Gospels. Jesus has made, and will continue to make several appearances during the last days. . . Hint: Keep in mind the context of the verse. Does the verse mention Jesus making multiple appearances? The book of first Peter was written between 62-69 AD and addressed universally to all Christians. Is it reasonable to exclude all the Christians of the first century from the context of the verse?
