When did the last days begin? The Bible says: James 5:1 Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries which are coming upon you. Your riches have rotted and your garments have become moth-eaten. Your gold and your silver have rusted; and their rust will be a witness against you and will consume your flesh like fire. It is in the last days that you have stored up your treasure! The last days applied to the rich of the first century The last days do not apply to the rich of the first century . . Hint: Keep in mind the context of the verse. The book of James was written in about 62 AD and addressed universally to all Christians. The verse is written in past tense, not the future tense.
