When did the last times begin? The Bible says: 1 Peter 1:20 For Christ was foreknown before the foundation of the world, but has appeared in these last times for the sake of you. The verse says that Jesus appeared. When did Jesus appear? During Jesus' earthly ministry as recorded in the four Gospels. Jesus has made, and will continue to make several appearances during the last days. . . Hint: Keep in mind the context of the verse. Does the verse mention Jesus making multiple appearances? The book of first Peter was written between 62-69 AD and addressed universally to all Christians. Is it reasonable to exclude all the Christians of the first century from the context of the verse? Did Jesus not appear to the first century Christians as well? Doesn't this indicate that THEY lived in the last days 2000 years ago? click here to continue . . Correct!
