Does Revelation foretell today's current events? Fact: God tells us plainly when the prophecies would be fulfilled 4 times in the book of Revelation. Twice in these first chapter. Twice in the last chapter. I want to see the first of these 4 verses please! . . Here is Bible Verse #1 of 4: "The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants, the things which must shortly take place; and He sent and communicated it by His angel to His bond-servant John, who bore witness to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw." Rev 1:1 Notice that this is the very first verse of the book! Question: When will the prophecies of Revelation take place? Revelation's prophecies mainly apply to todays current events.
