201: Grant, Robert M.: Gods and the One God
What we find in these early authors, then, is not a doctrine of the Trinity . . . Before Nicaea, Christian theology was almost universally subordinationist." (Gods and the One God, Robert M. Grant, as quoted by Anti-Trinitarians) In any event, the passage [Phil 2:6-8] makes it plain that before Christ Jesus emptied himself he was not human but divine." (Gods and the One God, Robert M. Grant, p105) But Justin describes this Logos as a second God, one who proceeded from the Father before creation in the manner of word or fire or spring water. "The Father of the Universe has a Son, who also, being the first-born Logos of God, is God." Tatian too has a Logos doctrine ... It also explained how theophanies could be included in the Old Testament revelation. The point was picked up in John 1: 18: "No one has ever seen God; the Only-begotten God at the Father's bosom has interpreted [or revealed] him." Among the apologists too the Logos is the one who appears in the theophanies. But Justin ... ...

205: The real Pool of Siloam discovered in 2004 AD
The Virgin's Spring is the only spring of fresh water in the immediate neighborhood of Jerusalem, and in time of siege it was important that, while the enemy should be deprived of access to it, its waters should be made available for those who were within the city. The Gihon Spring was the source of the water for the pool and it was heavily guarded by a gate from David's Time Queen Helena dug what she thought was the Siloam pool and until the real one was discovered in 2004 AD. Queen Helena is well documented for choosing locations blindly, or for purely self interest reasons. The pool was discovered when a local city of Jerusalem utility crew were repairing a pipe. They dug deeper and hit the hug rocks of the pool. You can see the damage today where the machine hit the stairs. Discovery of the actual pool: While digging a drainage pipe, a tractor his some large stone under the dirt. 206: Josephus 110 AD. Kadesh Barnea at Petra
If someone told you that a book was written in 1975 AD and in the book it describes how a band of Muslim Terrorists drove two airplanes into the twin trade towers of New York City, you would know that the book must have been written after 2001 AD. If not, then someone else amended the book to include the event. Since the Romans annexed Petra and the Sinai Peninsula in 106 AD, when Josephus refers to Petra as Arabia, it proves he was writing after 106 AD or that someone else updated the names of the places in his writings to reflect and new names. 208: Amalek and the Amalekites
... Sinai is at Jebel Musa. They begin by imagining Mt. Sinai is in the same territory as the Amalekites: the modern Sinai Peninsula. In a "comedy of errors" they wrongly assume the Amalekites lived beside the land of Goshen, because they wrongly place the Shur on the east side of the Bitter lakes, instead of in the land of Midian. They correctly insist the Amalekites lived near Kadesh Barnea, but then wrongly place Kadesh Barnea within the promised land at Ein el-qudeirat, instead of near Petra, near Mt. Seir in the land of Edom where we know they did live. But their comedy turns to horrors when they learn that the Amalekites were located "from ancient times" between Midian and Babylon, they revise their argument and say that they also dwelt in the Negev of Judah. When they clearly inhabited a territory from Babylon to Midian, some did spill over into the Negev, but the majority of their domain was north central Arabia. We know that the "city of the Amalekites" was transjordan at the time ... ...

In Israel, painted 'Edomite' ware has been found in rather small quantities at several sites in the Negev (Mazar 1985; Beit-Arieh 1989).
