Why Be Baptized? Click to View Among our Lord's last words to his disciples was the charge to preach the saving gospel to all men. In Matthew Chapter 28,verse 19, he said, "Go you therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost". 462: History proves Christians always met on 1st Day and not the Sabbath ...
Glait and Fischer, who had been taught the false doctrine of the Catholic and Lutheran churches, that Sunday is the Sabbath, were astonished to read in the Bible that the Sabbath was indeed the 7th day! When they began to teach this, theologians were sent to persuade them to abandon what they called the "Jewish Sabbath." Both of them suffered a martyr death, largely due to their Sabbatarian views. Sabbatarians owe a debt of gratitude to these Sabbath pioneers whose work later influenced the origin of the Seventh-day Baptist church. The latter (Joseph Bates) has been instrumental in helping the early Adventists and other Christians to rediscover the Sabbath. Historically, it was in 1844 the first Seventh-day Adventists (known then as Millerites) started keeping the Sabbath, introduced to them by Joseph Bates (a member of the Christian Connextion Church which was was part of the Christian Church, Stone/Campbell movement, who convinced their Methodist minister that the Bible teaches us ... ...

464: Bible Texts Calvinists misuse to prove "Eternal Security"
... We cannot be separated from the love of Christ. But this verse does not teach that we can never be separated from the salvation which is in Christ. Christ's love for man and salvation in Christ are two different things. We can separate ourselves from Christ, but not from His love. If They Fall Away, They Weren't Saved In The First Place: 1 Jn 2:19 The Bible clearly teaches a Christian can fall away This passage merely says that at the time they "went out" they were not saved. These could have been saved in the past but fell away, then they "went out". If not why not? This passage is directed towards those who embraced the Gnostic teaching. These were blood bought believers who fell away from the faith exactly as the Bible prophesied they would. Conclusion The Bible does teach ""Security of the believer" while the Christian remains faithful (2 Tim. 4:7-8). But if we become unfaithful, we have no such promise. Obvious problems admittedly attach to both claims; indeed, "person" as a trinitarian (threeness) term has itself been controversial since Augustine, and especially in the modem period. Introduction: 1. We support the state of modern Israel as a stable productive democracy and a protectorate of biblical archeology from the Muslims who would hinder and destroy any evidence the Bible is accurate and that Jews are the historic occupiers of the land since 1400 BC. However Israel becoming a nation in 1948 AD was a non-event as far as Bible prophecy is concerned. The only hope of Israel is to accept Jesus Blood for their sins and be saved though faith, repentance, confession of Christ and water baptism. 2. Pre-tribulation Rapture and dispensationalists teach the false doctrine that God failed to fulfill the three promises he made to Abraham in fleshly Israel and the church (spiritual Israel). 3. 484: Is Church Membership Essential to my salvation?
We must be crystal clear here; the church does not save. Christ does that and only Christ. One must be in Christ to be saved and no one can be saved outside of Christ. Thus, the New Testament terms, "being in Christ", "being in the church", and "being in the Lord's body", equally describe one condition, that of being saved or that of being a Christian (Refer to Gal. 3: 27; Eph. 1:22,23; 1 Cor. 12:13). Although unsaved persons may meet with the earthly worship of the body of Christ, their presence in the worship does not infer that Christ has accepted them or added them to the church. Faith in Christ and obedience to His will is the only route into the church. Study Bible Research Library message, "The New Testament Church - It's Terms of Entrance". As discussed earlier, membership in the church results as the believer obeys God's will: Thus we must ask, "But does this membership in the Lord's church commit the believer to meet with an earthly body, to carry out responsibilities to ... ...

... A diocesan priest is attached to a specific diocese, under the authority of the local bishop. A religious priest is a member of a religious community that has a particular mission in the Church (for example, missionary work or teaching) and works in many different parts of the world at the invitation of local bishops. In addition, the religious priest takes "vows" of poverty--to relinquish personal ownership and share possessions; chastity--not just to forego marriage as the vow of celibacy requires (which all priests take) but to strive for God-centered love; and obedience--to spread the gospel where requested. In the Bible, every Christian is a Priest, saint and brother or sister. The Church of the First Three Centuries: "The modern popular doctrine of the Trinity . . . derives no support from the language of Justin [Martyr]: and this observation may be extended to all the ante-Nicene Fathers; that is, to all Christian writers for three centuries after the birth of Christ. It is true, they speak of the Father, Son, and . . . holy Spirit, but not as co-equal, not as one numerical essence, not as Three in One, in any sense now admitted by Trinitarians. The very reverse is the fact." Thus, the testimony of the Bible and of history makes clear that the Trinity was unknown throughout Biblical times and for several centuries thereafter."
