255: Noss, John B.: Man's Religion
He was a creative personality of the first order. Unfortunately the exact details of his work are shrouded from us in tradition. The story of Moses has come down to us in the narratives (known to scholars as J and E) intertwined in Exodus and Numbers. The written forms of these traditions dates from three or four hundred years after his time (Man's Religion, John B. Noss, 1968, p481) The first Christian century has had more books written about it than any other comparable period of history. The chief sources bearing on its history are the Gospels and Epistles of the New Testament, and these-again we must, make a comparative statement-have been more thoroughly searched by inquiring minds than any other books ever written. Historical criticism has been particularly busy with them during the last seventy-five years, and has reached the verdict that in the New Testament the early Christian religion about Jesus has overlaid and modified the record of the religion of Jesus himself; but ... ...

264: Trinity proof texts: John 10:30-33
... After all, the judges of Ps 82 performed no miracles like Jesus was which implies He had a more valid claim to be called God then they! Ps 82 was a controversial passage from the time it was written. Some of the Jews in Jesus day evidently rejected it as valid scripture for the same reasons Martin Luther rejected the entire book ... God obviously knew that Ps 82 would always be a flash point of controversy and we must ask why God would do such? Obviously it was there for the sole benefit of the coming Messiah. Detailed study of how the Holy of Holies of the Temple of Solomon was located directly over the Al-Kas fountain. A. Scripture tells us the tabernacle of Moses faced east: 1. It is interesting that the Tabernacle of Moses at Mt. Sinai (Al-Lawz) faced east. If you stood on the summit, you would look east over top of the tabernacle, which itself was facing east. 2. A eastward facing Tabernacle (later Temple) can be inferred from the information about the court in Exodus 27:9-18, with a little help from Numbers 2:1-34 (note vs. 17). 3. Based on Jn 12:48, when a Christian stands before God in judgement regarding stealing, Jesus will refer to Eph 4:28, not the Ten Commandments!
