101: Egeria 381 AD and Mt. Sinai
Introduction: in 325 AD, Queen Helena (Constantines mother) chose Mt. Musa in the Sinai Peninsula from a vision she saw in a dream. Egeria, an unknown woman who took a four year "Holy land tour" including the exodus route in 381-384 AD. Egeria went to the Sinai Peninsula and Mt. Musa where it has been placed on every map since. Egeria seemed to follow the Septuagint in Gen. 46:34 in her diary, by saying Goshen was in Arabia: "I desired therefore that we should go from Clysma to the land of Goshen, that is, to the city called Arabia, which city is in the land of Goshen. The whole territory is called after the city, the land of Arabia, the land of Goshen, although it is part of Egypt. It is much better land than all the rest of Egypt." (The Pilgrimage Of Etheria, McClure and Feltoe, 1919 AD, p 13) For a more detailed discussion on the Septuagint Click here. A. 103: 300 BC: The Death of Hebrew Language, rise of The Septuagint ...
The extinction of the Hebrew language in 300 BC of the world population of Jews created a spiritual vacuum and the need for a Greek version of the Hebrew scriptures. The Septuagint filled this spiritual void for the tiny group of hungry remnant of Jews who began reading the Torah in Alexandria Egypt in their homes in small groups and the synagogue was born. Everywhere the Greek Septuagint was distributed throughout the world as synagogue was born. At the time of Jesus the Messiah/branch, son of David, Hebrew had already been a dead language for 300 years. The tiny remnant who spoke Hebrew were the Jerusalem Temple elites that included the High priest and his associates (Sadducees) but all these were wiped out in 70 AD. A small remnant of Hebrew speaking Jews lived at Zippori and Tiberias who became known to us as the Masoretes, but these went extinct in 1000 AD. After 1000 AD nobody on earth spoke Hebrew until it was restored in 1915 AD in Tel Aviv. From Abraham to the present time, ... ...

104: Arguments against Al-Lawz as Mt. Sinai, refuted!
The fact that no other reference is given means that the only logical conclusion is that it was the rear wilderness of Midian. The Bible says that Moses went to the "behind side [Hebrew: "achar"] of the wilderness" Literally: achar "the hind or following part" (NASB Hebrew dictionary). So the east side of the Lawz would most certainly be described at the "behind wilderness". It is kind of like saying that Moses went to "the back forty". This is sufficient to understand why this was ... The Queen of Sheba contrasted Ethiopia in Africa to Israel: "It was a true report which I heard in my own land about your words and your wisdom. " 1 Kings 10:6. See also 2 Ki 19:7 where Sennacherib contrasts "his own land" of Assyria to Israel. Today we would say: "He left the land of USA and lived in the land of Canada". Quite often in the Bible the expression "land of" denotes local towns within the same country: The "land of Goshen" and "land of Egypt" are both within the Country of Egypt and under ... ...

106: Mt. Karkom, Israel
Recently, Emmanuel Anati proposed Mt. Karkom as the location of mount Sinai. We feel the most compelling reason for rejecting Har Karkom as Biblical Mt. Sinai, is its location at least 35 km inside the Biblical boundaries of the promised land. Gen 15:18 and many other verses, says that the wadi Al-Arish (River of Egypt) is the southern boundary of Israel. For this reason alone we must reject Har Karkom as the location of Mt. Sinai. Emmanuel Anati's proposals must be rejected because it contradicts the Bible. Israel's "40 years in the ... On a hill top, one km east of Mt.
